Hello All:
My name is Lorin L. Wilkinson, known to some of you as "Mr. Jones." I joined Chapter 10 in November having moved to Tulsa from Yelm, WA. where I was a member of Olympia Chapter 684. I have been an E.A.A. member for some time, owned a number of "factory" aircraft and built three homebuilts (E.A.A. 12611). I have been a Chapter officer and I am a Tech Councilor and a Flight Advisor. I have attended the Biplane Expo at Bartlesville each year since 1992 and hosted forums on the Hatz biplane at that event and others.
It was at BVO that I met a lovely lady that many of you have known for some time, Mary R. Jones. We were married in Tulsa on 02 February 2000 and returned to Yelm to settle my affairs. The end of May I flew my Hatz XB-II from Yelm to Tulsa, 1741 miles, crossing the rockies at 11,000 msl, it was a bit nippy. We presently live in Mary's home in Tulsa while building a new home and hangar at SkyHaven Airpark 20 miles north, about halfway between Tulsa and Bartlesville. We should move in late spring. We look forward to being active members of Chapter 10. Lorin
